Who we are

Animata is an open-source library of animated React components operated by Codse, based in Nepal. Contact us at hello@codse.com or visit our contact page.

Information we collect

  • Newsletter email — if you subscribe, we store the address you submit so we can send product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in those emails.
  • Usage analytics — in production we use PostHog to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, basic device/browser data). Profiles are identified only when you are already identified; we do not sell this data.
  • Preferences — theme preference (light/dark/system) may be stored in your browser (for example via local storage) so the site remembers your choice.
  • Advertising technology — we use Google AdSense and may use other ad partners (such as Carbon Ads) to show ads. These partners may set cookies or use similar technologies as described below.

Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to your website or other websites.

Sharing

We share information with service providers that help us run the site (hosting, email delivery, analytics, advertising). We do not sell your personal information. Advertising partners such as Google may collect and process data as described in their own policies.

Retention

We keep newsletter addresses until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics and advertising data are retained according to each provider's settings and policies.

  • Opt out of personalized Google ads via Ads Settings
  • Clear cookies and site data in your browser
  • Email hello@codse.com for access or deletion requests related to data we hold directly

Children

Animata is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
